- IEC bilateral agreement — Working Holiday, Young Professionals, Co-op (under 36).
- Police certificate: Bulletin No. 3 (free, online via casier-judiciaire.justice.gouv.fr).
- Quebec recognizes French diplomas more readily; non-Quebec applications use WES/CES Quebec.
- TEF Canada widely available — major Express Entry advantage.
- Dual French-Canadian citizenship is fully permitted.
