Original content on IRCC.com — articles, illustrations, code, branding — is owned by IRCC.com or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark law. Government data and forms remain the property of the Government of Canada and are used under the Government of Canada's open-data terms.
You may share short excerpts (under fair-dealing principles) with attribution and a link back to the original page. You may not republish whole articles, train AI models on our content, or use our content commercially without written permission.
4. Permitted use
You may:
- Read, save, print, and share IRCC.com pages for personal non-commercial use.
- Link to our pages from your own website, social media, or messaging.

5. Prohibited use
