The province did not invite any candidates from the Skilled Workers in Manitoba or Skilled Workers Overseas streams in this round, marking a departure from its typical multi-stream approach.

This is Manitoba's tenth MPNP draw of 2026 and the second consecutive round focused solely on recruitment-mission participants. The previous draw on May 8 also invited only candidates who had met with Manitoba employers at international hiring events, signaling a strategic shift toward pre-vetted applicants with direct employer connections. By contrast, earlier 2026 draws included invitations across all three MPNP streams.

The 313 invitations went to candidates who participated in Manitoba's Strategic Recruitment Initiative missions, which the province conducts in countries with high concentrations of skilled workers. These missions allow Manitoba employers to interview candidates in person and assess their qualifications before the candidates enter the MPNP pool. Invited candidates must have received a valid job offer from a Manitoba employer during one of these events and meet the baseline requirements for the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, including language proficiency equivalent to CLB 5 or higher and at least one year of work experience in an occupation on Manitoba's In-Demand Occupations List.

This draw affects candidates who attended Manitoba recruitment missions in the Philippines, India, and the United Arab Emirates between March and May 2026. Skilled workers who applied to the MPNP through the standard Skilled Workers Overseas pathway without attending a mission were not considered in this round, nor were candidates already working in Manitoba under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream.

Invited candidates have 60 days from the date of invitation to submit a complete provincial nomination application through the MPNP Online system. Applicants should log into their MPNP account to confirm their invitation status and upload all required documents, including their job offer letter, educational credential assessments, and language test results, before the July 21, 2026 deadline.
